Friday News DUMP – Obama offers millions in Muslim technology fund

The White House Friday highlighted a new multi-million-dollar technology fund for Muslim nations, following a pledge made by President Barack Obama in his landmark speech to the Islamic world.

Excuse me??? We're freaking broke and on the edge, and Obama is giving money away to "Muslim nations"??? What the hell is that??? I thought this was a president who was going to bring us together, not divide, yet here he is giving money away based on... What exactly? Are there not enough Muslim oil nations with sufficient funds to support their own technological development?

This is disturbing enough on it's own, however last week I was out walking my dog and as we passed the local elementary school I noticed a bunch of children running around the playground dressed in what appeared to be Arab attire... Robes, head gear, etc... "Bah...", I thought... I'm just paranoid... Am I? Yesterday I saw my neighbor's little girl outside and I asked her what was going on in school that day and why the kids were dressed like that... Who were they supposed to be? She thought a minute and said, "You know, who are those people in the desert?" Arabs?, I said... "Yeah!, That's it... They were dressing like Arabs..." WTF???

I didn't take the conversation any further with my neighbor's daughter, however I will be paying the school a visit next week in an effort to get an interview to find out the whole story. It will be interesting to see if anyone will talk to me...
