Global warming???
While I certainly recognize weather and climate are certainly two different things, it certainly seems ironic that people are rioting in
Copenhagen for fear of global warming in light of the following...

Brrr... All this global warming is giving me the chills

I Pledge Allegiance to Global Warming…
British scientists sign a government loyalty oath.
One scientist told The Times he felt under pressure to sign. "The Met Office is a major employer of scientists and has long had a
policy of only appointing and working with those who subscribe to their views on man-made global warming," he said.
We are potentially entering what could turn into a modern "Dark Age"... One darker than I would have ever imagined could take place in my own lifetime. We're facing a situation where men of science, thought to be the last bastion of truth to many, are now being placed in a position where if they want to remain employed in their chosen field, they are going to have to consider policy over empirical data when it comes to reporting their "findings". Chilling...
I don't know about anyone else, but the thought of the government taking over science is just the kind of thing that could destroy our civilization. This insane, corrupt rabble that has infiltrated our legislative body has in essence bankrupted both morally, as well as financially, the greatest society the world has ever known in just the last 50 years... Allowing these people to hijack the scientific process is a deadly proposition... Even in the face of the recent Climategate, voices are calling for population controls such as enforcing a Chinese-inspired one child per family policy... All to "save the planet"... Hmmm... I wonder... How motivated is the scientific community going to be to produce life prolonging drugs when they're being run by a government who doesn't want people to live?
Perhaps one of the most alarming regarding one child per family policy, is, what are the odds the Nation of Islam is going to agree to such a control? This is a pretty alarming video with a TON of hits on YouTube... I don't know who's responsible for the data, but from a cultural standpoint, it doesn't seem too unbelievable...

Amidst Anthropogenic Global Warming Hoax, Obama moves toward climate deal
If you own any shares in alternative energy companies I should start dumping them NOW. The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka Hadley CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the internet. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That)
When you read some of those files – including 1079 emails and 72 documents – you realise just why the boffins at Hadley CRU might have preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest:
Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.
Writing about this stuff on an almost daily basis could really have serious long term affects to the state of my mental health. Men of science are supposed to be governed by empirical evidence, not Green Al's Gases, and the fact that these "stewards of knowledge" have turned out to be a disgusting bunch of miscreants (huh, kinda like the ones in Congress), it's becoming increasingly difficult to believe anything other than my own common sense. Meanwhile, Obama says the world is "one step closer" to a "strong operational agreement" on climate change looking forward to Copenhagen next month.
