Amidst Anthropogenic Global Warming Hoax, Obama moves toward climate deal
If you own any shares in alternative energy companies I should start dumping them NOW. The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka Hadley CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the internet. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That)
When you read some of those files – including 1079 emails and 72 documents – you realise just why the boffins at Hadley CRU might have preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest:
Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.
Writing about this stuff on an almost daily basis could really have serious long term affects to the state of my mental health. Men of science are supposed to be governed by empirical evidence, not Green Al's Gases, and the fact that these "stewards of knowledge" have turned out to be a disgusting bunch of miscreants (huh, kinda like the ones in Congress), it's becoming increasingly difficult to believe anything other than my own common sense. Meanwhile, Obama says the world is "one step closer" to a "strong operational agreement" on climate change looking forward to Copenhagen next month.

The earth’s climate system is just way too complex for people to say with any certainty that CO2 is causing the temperature changes reported. Their assertions that CO2 absolutely causes global warming has been an obvious fraud for a long time. You cannot be completely sure that CO2 does not cause some temperature rise either, but you should not act on something that you can not prove with a reasonable certainty. Science is done by producing an experiment that proves an effect and which is repeatable by others, not by taking a poll of scientists. Scientists are susceptible to the same influences of corruption, psychology and politics as other people are.
