Omaha, Nebraska: December 31, 2010 The Reformed Senate Select Committee to Investigate the Mass Progressive Suicides (CIMPS) of December 2009 today released its findings on the tragedy.

CIMPS’ summary concludes:

Late last year a virulent poem created by Al Gore decimated the Progressive Movement of the United States when 98% of its membership committed suicide after reading it. Contrary to rumors of a putsch by the Conservative Revolutionary Front, it is the finding of the emergency U.S. government in Omaha that it was not LSD in the water supply of Washington, the Upper West Side, and vast portions of Hollywood, San Francisco, and 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue that precipitated the near extinction of American progressives. Neither was it a conspiracy of global oil interests headed by defrocked members of the KGB. The deaths are attributable to the deranged act of a lone poet.

This man is insane... Only someone suffering from a complete and utter detachment from reality could possibly write such a "poem" in the face of Climategate. What's interesting is, he's probably no less sane than the rest of the zealots and their quest for Green Jesus... I mean, take a look at what's happening in Copenhagen already: Riot in Copenhagen, heat on squabbling leaders

Blame Bush Theory still alive and well on CL politics

Your insistence on only "discussing" Obama from a Bush frame of reference only confirms my earlier observation about you and your ilk. There is no exit strategy, there is no plan "B", no matter how fraudulent your ideology becomes under the weight of exposition, no matter what information is introduced into the equation, you simply cannot deviate from your programming... You all have all the answers [the debate is over], yet somehow at the same time you're not accountable for anything... It's always SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT WHEN THINGS DON'T PAN OUT.

I guess it's just a difference in how people are raised... You see, part of my motivation on this board is actually a form of penance for having been apathetic towards politics for so long. I'M partially responsible for this bullshit mess we have right now, which is why I must now take action against it by countering ideology with reality where ever I find it. I am here, and I am accountable TODAY...

Obama campaigned hard to become Captain of A SHIP THAT ALREADY HIT THE ICEBERG... Now he's here, it's a year later and the hull is sinking deeper into the waterline... When I ask, "Why is this?", it hardly seems acceptable to settle for, "Well, that last Captain, he hit that ice pretty hard ya know..." YEAH, WE FUCKING GET IT, AND APPARENTLY PEOPLE THOUGHT YOU DID TOO. THAT'S HOW YOU GOT THE JOB, REMEMBER?

In the simplest terms, I wonder is there anyone who will identify, in an actual unit of time measurement, how long must Obama be in office before it is politically correct in your opinion [to put it into terms perhaps you can relate to] to call into question his actions as president?

If you can answer the question, do it. If you can't, have a nice day anyway

Obama apologists on CL outright REFUSE to accept any wrong doing on his part under any circumstances, nor will they give direct answers to direct questions. Maybe someone around here wants to take a stab at it?

"...Robert Creamer, used to be the leader of Citizen Action/Illinois. He also founded its predecessor, Illinois Public Action, in which Ms. Schakowsky served as Program Director. He runs a political consulting firm, the Strategic Consulting Group, which lists ACORN and the SEIU among its clients and which made $541,000 working for disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.

Creamer resigned from Citizen Action/Illinois after the FBI began investigating him for bank fraud and tax evasion at Illinois Public Action. He was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to five months in federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, plus eleven months of house arrest.

While in prison—or “forced sabbatical,” he called it—Creamer wrote a lengthy political manual, Listen to Your Mother: Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win (Seven Locks Press, 2007)."

Are you surprised? Beitbart's Biggovernment.com broke the story to Fox's Glenn Beck who talked about it on both his radio and cable news programs... Creamer's book outlines in a nutshell the methodology progressives must use to, as the title of his books stipulates, "Win"...

HOW MANY MORE CRIMINALS WILL WE SUFFER??? If somebody mugs you on the street, that one thing... At least you have the choice, and/or the opportunity to defend yourself and rebuff your attacker. However, in our current set of circumstances, the attackers are under the protective wing of the White House... Even when we're fortunate enough to toss out miscreants like Van Jones, they end up just down the street with John Podesta at the Center for American Progress... A veritable pox on our society...

Time to circle the wagons, folks... This insane mix of malcontents, domestic terrorists, and convicted felons who have taken control of our government, poured right out of a Chicago gutter and into the White House. Howard Dean: The debate is over, but this time it’s not about global warming, it’s about CAPITALISM…

Howard Dean is a menace... These people in our government who seek to usher into our ranks European style Socialism are basically committing acts of treason against this country. Their job is to uphold the Constitution of The United States, not find new and interesting ways to make us more like Europe... I mean, isn't that how this country got started to begin with? Because people got together to build something BETTER than Europe??? An here's this idiot, Dean, on video, ready to do what he can to bring us backwards.

Perhaps even more infuriating is the point in the video where he cops to what many of us have suspected has been going on right along, the implementation of the "permanent campaign"... IE, the constant and persistent generation of propaganda designed to advance whatever the cause du jour is... Kinda like the whole gloBULL warming thing... I'm sure according to Dean, the massive climate cover-up is just all part of the "permanent campaign"...

I will say this about Howard Dean, it seems to me that in most instances that I run into him (via the news), he's at least being "honest" (as much as a politician is able) about what's on his mind... I am at tremendous odds with his ideology, but at least I don't have to guess at what his agenda is. At least he's willing to openly declare he's for socialism, that The DNC is a partially owned subsidiary of the trial lawyers lobby [see the video below], and that they're in permanent campaign mode...

The more you listen to these people, you begin to realize just how far removed from reality they really are...

NBC’s ObamaVision: ‘Law and Order’ — ‘This Is Why We Need Health-Care Reform’ – Network indoctrination

How long has he been without coverage?

NBC’s “Law and Order” is in its 20th season. The economy is weak, so they have devolved to converting White House talking points into weekly shows. Last week, “Doped” was a farcical equivalent of “Damien Thorn meets Karen Silkwood.” Pharmaceutical companies and Doctors are worse than drug cartels. The killers in the previous week’s episode on such cartels were more sympathetic than the health professionals.

NBC... All Obama, all the time... This is exactly why I can't enjoy any of these series dramas on TV anymore. There was a time when these kinds of shows were about entertainment... Magnum PI, The Rockford Files, Hawaii Five - 0 [lol, at the risk of dating myself ]... THESE were crime dramas that were also entertaining because as near as I can remember, they lacked any kind of sanctimonious socio-political statements. Entertainment used to be just that, but unfortunately, especially in the case of NBC, everything nowadays seems bent on toting the White House line n some form or another... I for one, am sick of it. Sure, I still watch movies [when they pique my interest], but I've given up on network TV unless I happen to catch reruns of Everyone Loves Raymond, or even The King of Queens [MAN, having a kid WRECKED Leah Remini, but that's a story for another blog].

Now, I pretty much watch news and that's about it... Well, that and maybe select late-night animated selections on Adult Swim, for when I need something to take the edge of the day's news. Actually, even the animated world has not escaped modern "doctrines". I used to watch a show called Venture Brothers, which, without going into too much detail, is probably one of the strangest animated shows you'll ever see. It's basically the misadventures of two brothers who have a selfish, apathetic, second-rate inventor for a father who pays them little attention, but rather relies on super beefcake madman Brock Samson (voice of Patrick Warburton, aka David Putty from the Seinfeld series) to watch over the boys. In the new season, Brock is replaced by a homo... Umm, yeah... Whatever...

Health care on Law and Order... How long 'till the episodes where they start locking people up for not having insurance???

NEW YORK (AP) - Sting isn't a religious man, but he says President Barack Obama might be a divine answer to the world's problems."In many ways, he's sent from God," he joked in an interview, "because the world's a mess."

But Sting is serious in his belief that Obama is the best leader to navigate the world's problems. In an interview on Wednesday, the former Police frontman said that he spent some time with Obama and "found him to be very genuine, very present, clearly super-smart, and exactly what we need in the world."

"I can't think of any be better qualified because of his background, his education, particularly in regard to Islam," he said.

YAWN... Yet another "Hollywood" idiot who can't see the king has no clothes... Sting is the latest casualty to come off my list of musicians I really looked up to. Anthony Kiedis from The Red Hot Chili Peppers went out just ahead of him for his participation in this piece of propaganda. What really get's me is his "pledge" at about 3:20, and Demi's "pledge" of indentured servitude... What the hell is wrong with these people?

I pledge, NEVER to listen to Hollywood whack jobs who in one breath talk about ending slavery (WHAT???) and then in the next pledge to serve a demagogue...

LEAKED NETWORK MEMO REVEALS: Obama Controls Your Television Set? – Progressives beat him to it!

In an article appearing in Andrew Breitbart's BigHollywood.com, Jim Nolte exposes a press release which reveals an orchestrated movement by The EIF [Entertainment Industry Foundation] to start loading the network TV airwaves with shows geared around the "theme" touting "the personal benefits of service", ie, "working for free is good..." Perhaps this type of concerted effort is new, or at least being escalated to a new level by White House operatives, but the progressives in Hollywood are way ahead on the whole concept of using entertainment as a tool to support their agenda.

I don't normally watch any of the network shows on prime-time, and haven't for probably the last 10 years. However, I have a house guest this week and in the interest of being a good host, I let them watch whatever they want. I'm appalled at the shows I saw last night, and here's why...

"Hank" - Starring Kelsey Grammer was the first thing I watched (sorta)... The theme of this show was 25 year corporate CEO gets fired and goes to work at what was in essence a Baskin Robbins, scooping ice-cream and ultimately get fired from THAT job too... This is the next evolution in the media onslaught against a strong, male, father figure. Like you see in so many commercials for cell phones, etc, "Dad" always plays the role of the bumbling idiot who while he means well, he's really not firmly rooted in reality and somehow, in the end, Mom or even the kids always know best. They're always "with it", while Dad is not. I couldn't help also notice the pink shirts Grammer kept wearing as well... Alpha males need not apply...

Now, one could argue that this is "timely" subject matter given the economic times, but again, the beef lies with the modern portrayal of the family. Dad, the guy who makes most of the money, is good for little else, according to amoral, asexual, Hollywood writers and producers. Many of which believe the traditional family unit is a thing of the past, if any of them even experienced such a thing to begin with. Dad used to be portrayed in the media as the rock, the go to guy who had the answer for everything... When was the last time you saw any modern sit-com, or even family drama (if there is such a thing) where a family is portrayed with a strong, competent father figure who was the backbone, not the hapless, technologically challenged metro-sexual... There was a time when the top show on TV was called Father Knows Best.

The next show I believe was called "Gary Unmarried" starring a now pudgy looking Jay Mohr... Freshly divorced, he's talked out to a night club where, despite a plethora of women who were ready to "go to my place" after less than 3 minutes of banter, he's ridiculed due to his inability to execute a meaningless, one-night stand... Apparently, Mohr is "too nice" and is made the butt of jokes throughout because he can't bang a stranger without trying to make a relationship out of it... Oh yeah, did I mention his ex-wife turns up at the same club and ends up banging Mohr's long-time buddy??? Anyway, in the end, Mohr is successful in pulling off a one night conquest, and thus exonerates himself in the eyes of his peers... No wonder I don't watch this shit anymore...

I don't know if anyone is even watching this garbage, but if they are, it's little wonder we're in the shape we're in with this counter-culture bullshit on TV... Dad is inept, "club women" are ready to have sex with the first stranger that says three words to them, and the casual, one-night stand is celebrated... That's just f'n great...

If all this isn't bad enough already, come 9pm the "crime dramas" started... I absolutely could not believe the kind of graphic violence depicted in these shows, over, and over again... The first show I don't even know the name of, but it featured a collection of wooden actors/actresses lead by Joe Montegna... The acting was horrible, but the gratuitous violence was even worse... Not only that, the killers (referred to constantly as "Un-subs", which I'll come back to in a sec) took video of the brutal bludgeonings of their victims (using a crow bar), so the atrocity could be "enjoyed" more than once throughout the show via the killers' video. An hour of that shit... Oh yeah, the whole "Un-sub" thing? I found out later it was short for "Under Subject"... Umm, call me crazy, but is this how a normal person would refer to insane animals who beat their victims to death with a crowbar? Why the use of ambivalent Newspeak when describing outright atrocity?

Again, I don't watch a lot of network TV and the last few days have been a glaring example as to why that's so... I'm sure there are plenty out there who would say, "Wow, where have you been? I can't believe you'd even take the time to pontificate on shows [we've] been watching for years... What's the big deal?"

Speaking in general terms, and without getting overly technical, your conscious mind has built in defenses which reject "bad" information, or at least categorize it as such so it can be stored in a "harmless" manner. However, these defenses come down or at least lessen in many people when information is being introduced under the guise of "entertainment"... The brain lapses into a suggestive state where concepts and ideas which, under normal circumstances would be rejected, are actually "slipped in" under the defenses, infiltrating areas of thought where it doesn't belong. The end result is a desensitizing toward the extreme at least, outright infusion of moral and ethical ambiguity at worst... Family Guy, which I'm actually a fan of, is a perfect example... Brain, the family talking dog, had a running affair with a hot HUMAN female who's voice was played by Drew Barrymore, and even has subsequent relations with human females following their "breakup"... Umm, HelllLLLOOOoooo, bestiality is an abomination, yet when it's presented in a "comical", animated format, it's readily accepted. You have just now set the parameter in your brain that under some circumstances, bestiality is okay... The seed is sown, so to speak...

Progressives will no doubt scoff at this line of reasoning because after all, the incremental breaking down of traditional values is their raison d'être and, many of them are behind these shows I speak of. [Seth MacFarlane is a raging liberal-progressive]. The real shitter is, they're FULLY AWARE that what I say is true but they will ridicule the idea as they do everything else that challenges that which they wish to conceal, in this case, the continuous effort to reshape society via television.

Jeez... And they wonder why so many people are watching Fox News these days...

Barack Obama: Peace Prize no Surprise

Face it, how surprised are you really at Barack Obama winning a Nobel Peace Prize? I mean, if such awards are given out to people like Al Gore and his junk science, how seriously can one take what seems to have become a somewhat dubious distinction? After all, Jimmy Carter got one too...

Sadly, there's little doubt we're living in an age where exceptionalism of any kind is being discouraged, not nurtured as it was in the past. Our children are being indoctrinated with the idea personal excellence is unnecessary and all should receive equal recognition merely for participating. Things like pride and the desire to excel are being all but eradicated from a youth victimized by state run educational systems. Group participation and the importance of being a valuable drone citizen are encouraged in lieu of individual achievement and personal accomplishment. Obama's Nobel Prize is the ultimate realization of this ideology, for surely he's won the Nobel Prize merely for participating.

When you start to look at the cumulative evidence surrounding Barack Obama, it becomes difficult to deny the forthright promotion of his cult of personality appeal. Like him or not, the fact is the only thing he's "accomplished" since taking office was to take part in the ramming through of what has turned out to be a failed stimulus [authored by The Apollo Alliance]. Certainly there are many smaller pieces of legislation going through in the shadows, but on major issues, this administration has had one hell of a time advancing it's agenda, despite enjoying a Democratic super-majority... Oh yeah, and here's your trophy...

Freedom loving Americans, those who still put their faith in The Constitution need to realize that on the world stage, we are an overwhelming MINORITY. Freedom is the freak, oppression is the rule and it's coming for us with a vengeance. Unless those of us who still value our sovereignty can harden ourselves against this constant affront and become engaged, we will eventually be taken over by simple osmosis, accelerated by government apathy with regard to securing our borders and the continued indoctrination of our youth. Each of us need to recognize our role as self-appointed stewards of our own liberty. We owe it to every soldier who has given their life in the field of battle, whether you agree with their particular conflict, or not. They died for an idea that we're dangerously close to letting slide quietly into the good night.

Speak up friends, find others who are also finding their voices and band together... We CAN continue to turn this tied rising quickly against us. We might be the minority on a GLOBAL scale, but we are the overwhelming majority in our own country... It's time to bring back "Think globally, act locally", in a whole new context. Some will no doubt cry "paranoiac" for lack of anything better to say, but yeah, you need to allow yourself to believe the world is in fact "out to get you". If there was some kind of GOP left in tact worth a salt, I wouldn't be nearly so alarmed however, their inactivity is complicity as far as I'm concerned. There is no balance of power and the system of checks and balances within our government are failing.

When the leaders fail to lead, the people must lead the leaders...

MMM, MMM, MMM, Barack Hussein Obama… The point everyone seems to be missing.

Fox News and Talk Radio was abuzz today over the video released on YouTube of what looks like a bunch of four or five year olds singing a bastardized version of The Battle Hymn of the Republic in praise of Barack Obama...

Personally, I find such a thing shocking because traditionally, we sing songs praising our nation, never can I remember singing the praises of ANY one man in my life... There is historic precedent for this kind of thing, but all of the high profile daily pundits have covered all that in great detail. I'd like to hit one little point they all seemed to have missed today... The age of these kids...

At the risk of being lumped in with the tin foil hat crowd, I can't help but be disturbed by the fact that these kids, at such a young age are being "introduced" to Barack Obama when even if he goes two terms, these kids aren't going to be old enough to vote for him... Right there the question becomes 1) Is this just an exercise to get them accustomed to following an individual in general or, 2) Is there some "master plan" for Obama in which he will still be in power when these children grow up? Either prospect is not good.

Had this been an isolated incident I would like to believe I could dismiss this kind of thing more readily. However, I'm all too aware of this video:

and still more recently, there's a third video which I can't seem to find which features a woman speaking over some rudimentary animation which informs viewers, "The government is supposed to take care of you, that's their job..." Ridiculous...

When I see the accumulation of such propagandizing of our youth coupled with the actions of the man himself... Campaigning for favor with the rest of the world by trashing us abroad, buddying up with the likes of Putin and Chavez while snubbing Gordon Brown, the betrayal of the Poles and Czechs over missile defenses... Too many things are happening simultaneously that have never boded well from from a historic perspective.

So which is it? Is it about the man himself or are our children merely getting warmed up for a new way of "worshipping"? Has God been kicked out of school to make room for Barack Hussein Obama?

That one's gonna keep me awake tonight...
