Your insistence on only "discussing" Obama from a Bush frame of reference only confirms my earlier observation about you and your ilk. There is no exit strategy, there is no plan "B", no matter how fraudulent your ideology becomes under the weight of exposition, no matter what information is introduced into the equation, you simply cannot deviate from your programming... You all have all the answers [the debate is over], yet somehow at the same time you're not accountable for anything... It's always SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT WHEN THINGS DON'T PAN OUT.

I guess it's just a difference in how people are raised... You see, part of my motivation on this board is actually a form of penance for having been apathetic towards politics for so long. I'M partially responsible for this bullshit mess we have right now, which is why I must now take action against it by countering ideology with reality where ever I find it. Obama campaigned hard to become Captain of A SHIP THAT ALREADY HIT THE ICEBERG... Now he's here, it's a year later and the hull is sinking deeper into the waterline... When I ask, "Why is this?", it hardly seems acceptable to settle for, "Well, that last Captain, he hit that ice pretty hard ya know..." YEAH, WE FUCKING GET IT, AND APPARENTLY PEOPLE THOUGHT YOU DID TOO. THAT'S HOW YOU GOT THE JOB, REMEMBER?

In the simplest terms, I wonder is there anyone who will identify, in an actual unit of time measurement, how long must Obama be in office before it is politically correct in your opinion [to put it into terms perhaps you can relate to] to call into question his actions as president?

If you can answer the question, do it. If you can't, have a nice day anyway

Obama apologists on CL outright REFUSE to accept any wrong doing on his part under any circumstances, nor will they give direct answers to direct questions. Maybe someone around here wants to take a stab at it?

I know Roger and he is a wealth of information on the shocking reality of Black Liberation Theology... It seems incredible to me more people don't get alarmed at the kinds of things which were preached in Obama's church of 20 years... Part of me believes that a lot of people simply cannot accept this information because it would mean they voted into power what is essentially, a sick man. Nobody wants that on their conscience...

BLT needs to be considered as part of the whole which makes up the sum of a man we really know painfully little about. Apparently due to some difficulty with transparency or something...

This apologetic usurper continues to campaign for the position of WORLD leader, but he ain't doing shit for us here at home. He's in Asia, Hillary is in Europe, Schwarzenegger, the governor of our broke-ass state is in Iraq, Janet Napolitano was just in The United Arab Emirates, giving comfort to Arabs and assuring them there will be no backlash against Muslims because of the "alleged" act of terror perpetrated by Major Hasan on Fort Hood...

I've got news for all these miscreants feeding off my pocket... Muslims aren't the only ones who should be worrying about backlash...

Why do people keep asking me questions?

WASHINGTON (AP) - The White House says that Republican wins in two governors' races were not referendums on the president.White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters Wednesday that voters went to the polls in Virginia and New Jersey to work through "very local issues that didn't involve the president." The presidential spokesman said voters were concerned about the economy. He said "I don't think the president needed an election or an exit poll to come to that conclusion."

Republicans turned aside Democratic candidates in both states, raising questions about the limits of the president's influence on his party's base of support and on the moderate lawmakers he needs to advance his legislative priorities.

LIKE I said, what else did you expect them to say? The fact is, Obama and his cronies pulled hard for Corzine and Deeds, showing up in both their districts in weeks leading up to the election in an effort to push their boys over the top. There's no doubt there's concern for the economy, as stated in the article, but for people to go running back to a party who basically threw us all under a bus less than a year ago by running McCain... This does not bode well for for this administration, not even a full year into their term.

This White House still doesn't seem to realize that 11 months in, they're in full ownership of this economy and everything else, whether THEY think so or not. The longer they resist accepting it, it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy in that one by one, they will be voted out, and people who are willing to take responsibility, will be voted in... At least, one can only "hope"...

NEW YORK (AP) - Sting isn't a religious man, but he says President Barack Obama might be a divine answer to the world's problems."In many ways, he's sent from God," he joked in an interview, "because the world's a mess."

But Sting is serious in his belief that Obama is the best leader to navigate the world's problems. In an interview on Wednesday, the former Police frontman said that he spent some time with Obama and "found him to be very genuine, very present, clearly super-smart, and exactly what we need in the world."

Anthony Kiedis from The Red Hot Chili Peppers went out just ahead of him for his participation in this piece of propaganda. What really get's me is his "pledge" at about 3:20, and Demi's "pledge" of indentured servitude... What the hell is wrong with these people?

I pledge, NEVER to listen to Hollywood whack jobs who in one breath talk about ending slavery (WHAT???) and then in the next pledge to serve a demagogue...

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama has restored an independent intelligence advisory board's authority to tell the attorney general if it thinks an intelligence agency has broken the law.

In so doing, Obama reversed a policy implemented about a year ago by President George W. Bush, who limited the ability of the President's Intelligence Oversight Board to expose potential violations of law to the national intelligence director, the president and the agency involved.

The independent panel was established in 1976 in the wake of widespread abuses by U.S. intelligence agencies. Obama also appointed co-chairs for the panel, tapping former Republican former Nebraska Sen. Chuck Hagel and Democratic former Sen. David Boren of Oklahoma.

Call me paranoid [it's not paranoia when they're really out to get you] but the only thing that sinks in from that article are the following words: "...reversed a policy implemented about a year ago by President George W. Simply read, Obama has just made another move to expand his own power and influence within the sphere of government by restoring power to this "board"...

If this isn't one for the WTF? category, I don't know what is... Apparently we are now paying for cell phones for those who can't afford them... I wonder, who do homeless people call? Other homeless people? What do they talk about? Hmm... Maybe this is just a way for The Chosen One to reach out and touch someone without having to wash his hands afterward... After all, if the government is giving you a phone, of course their going to either tell you HOW to use it, or they're going to use it themselves when they want to give you a call and remind you it's time to vote, and what you're supposed to be voting for...

Gee, did you ever think you'd see the day where they offer a phone plan that comes with the entire US governement included in your calling circle???

Sadly, there's little doubt we're living in an age where exceptionalism of any kind is being discouraged, not nurtured as it was in the past. Our children are being indoctrinated with the idea personal excellence is unnecessary and all should receive equal recognition merely for participating. Things like pride and the desire to excel are being all but eradicated from a youth victimized by state run educational systems. Group participation and the importance of being a valuable drone citizen are encouraged in lieu of individual achievement and personal accomplishment. Obama's Nobel Prize is the ultimate realization of this ideology, for surely he's won the Nobel Prize merely for participating.

When you start to look at the cumulative evidence surrounding Barack Obama, it becomes difficult to deny the forthright promotion of his cult of personality appeal. Like him or not, the fact is the only thing he's "accomplished" since taking office was to take part in the ramming through of what has turned out to be a failed stimulus [authored by The Apollo Alliance]. Certainly there are many smaller pieces of legislation going through in the shadows, but on major issues, this administration has had one hell of a time advancing it's agenda, despite enjoying a Democratic super-majority... Oh yeah, and here's your trophy...

Freedom loving Americans, those who still put their faith in The Constitution need to realize that on the world stage, we are an overwhelming MINORITY. Freedom is the freak, oppression is the rule and it's coming for us with a vengeance. Unless those of us who still value our sovereignty can harden ourselves against this constant affront and become engaged, we will eventually be taken over by simple osmosis, accelerated by government apathy with regard to securing our borders and the continued indoctrination of our youth. Each of us need to recognize our role as self-appointed stewards of our own liberty. We owe it to every soldier who has given their life in the field of battle, whether you agree with their particular conflict, or not. They died for an idea that we're dangerously close to letting slide quietly into the good night.

Speak up friends, find others who are also finding their voices and band together... We CAN continue to turn this tied rising quickly against us. We might be the minority on a GLOBAL scale, but we are the overwhelming majority in our own country... It's time to bring back "Think globally, act locally", in a whole new context. Some will no doubt cry "paranoiac" for lack of anything better to say, but yeah, you need to allow yourself to believe the world is in fact "out to get you". If there was some kind of GOP left in tact worth a salt, I wouldn't be nearly so alarmed however, their inactivity is complicity as far as I'm concerned. There is no balance of power and the system of checks and balances within our government are failing.

When the leaders fail to lead, the people must lead the leaders...
